Opening
This year, to fit in with public holidays, we hope to have the tennis courts ready
for play on Friday 2nd April while
the bowling season will start on Saturday 17th April.
Tennis Coaching
The coaching sessions this year will be restricted to 8 members per session and
will be available on a first come first served basis, so book early. Should
there be a waiting list, we may be able to find some additional slots. Failing
that, those who do not get a place will get first chance in the summer sessions.
Courts
The new system for maintaining the tennis courts worked very well last year and
will continue again this year. The rain created its fair share of puddles
which are difficult to deal with but with luck the application for grants to move
to all weather courts will be successful this year.
Clean-up Day
There will be a clean-up day on Saturday 27th March starting at 11.00am. Don't
leave it all to someone else to do it. Come along and help please.
Tennis
There is some demand for the tennis ladder to be reinstated and we hope also introduce
a competitive league for interested juniors. Details will be published in
the "office".
Bowls
As previousely stated, the bowling season will start on Saturday 17th April.

Club Comments
We have in the past asked you, the members, for your comments - good & bad -
and are once again asking you to give some feedback to the committee. Tell
us what you like or dislike about the club and be assured your comments will be
taken onboard.
